PSE Parts is largest Scandinavian wholesale supplier of motocross parts and clothing.
PSE receives more than 90% of their total orders online, but their previous ecommerce solution struggled to comply with the increasing amount of traffic and orders. Consequently, PSE needed a new best-practice turnkey B2B ecommerce solution with rapid implementation.
Together with Dynamicweb partner, 1st Web, PSE chose Dynamicweb as foundation for their new B2B ecommerce solution including integration to Dynamics NAV. The integration ensures that all master data is stored and managed in NAV, and enable PSE to display customer specific prices and return-merchandise-authorization (RMA) options through their customer center.
The typical PSE customers are Motocross dealers, who uses the customer center to browse through the entire PSE product catalog and to place orders based on their unique customer prices. However, if needed, the dealers can switch from unique prices to indicative prices – for instance when allowing B2C customers access to the online PSE product catalogue.
In addition, 1st Web has developed a Shop-in-Shop concept allowing each dealer to purchase their own standard ecommerce shop at minimum rates. The solution includes integration to the PSE B2B ecommerce portal, which automatically feeds 36,000 item numbers to all the dealer solutions, deactivates discontinued products and updates all product information.
The solution provides dealers with new user-friendly tools making the ordering process much simpler and agile. Among other things, dealers can simply use the ‘quick ordering’ or ‘copy/paste’ feature to add specific item numbers, quantities and comments – straight from Excel to the shopping cart. In the PSE Parts portal, dealers can select specific brands, models and product year to obtain a full list of all compatible spare parts.
PSE has obtained a very stable and flexible B2B ecommerce solution, which they continue to update with new features functionality in order to improve the overall user experience.
